Meet Guest Chef Luciano Magliulo!
We welcome Luciano Magliulo to Mercato Italiano the week of May 28. Growing up in the countryside of Torre del Greco, Italy, Luciano watched and learned from his father who commanded the family kitchen on Sundays. Magliulo continued his family tradition of love for food and attended the Hotel School Senigallia in Ancona, Italy. In 1975, Magliulo joined the iconic NYC landmark, the Rainbow Room, where he managed the food buying, banquets, and kitchen. In 1980, he opened the very popular La Camelia with his brother, NYC restauranteur Tony May and then Mona Lisa outside NYC. He now enjoys life as a restaurant consultant.
